The municipality of Ourém is located in the centre of Portugal, in the Lisbon and Tejo Valley Region (NUTII). It is situated around 40 km from the Atlantic Coast, mainly surrounded by the municipalities of Pombal, Tomar, Torres Novas and Leiria.
