Put Yourself in a Refugee´s Shoes

Resumo:

Este é um projeto focado principalmente em "refugiados e imigração", pois todos merecem viver de acordo com a Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos.

As escolas parceiras querem demonstrar respeito por essas pessoas, visto todos vivermos na mesma Terra. Isso não deve ser visto como misericórdia, mas como responsabilidade. As escolas não conseguem resolver todos os problemas dos imigrantes / refugiados, mas, como instituições de ensino, conseguimos proporcionar aceitação social e maior motivação / esperança para uma vida mais feliz. Por outro lado, este projeto será muito útil para os alunos, ao desenvolver suas competências sociais, linguísticas e autonomia pessoal.

 

Summary:

This is a project mainly focused on “refugees and immigration” and it means that everybody deserves to live a life according to Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Partner schools want to show their respect to those people because we all live on the same Earth. This must not be seen as mercy, but it should be seen as responsibility. Schools can’t manage to solve all the problems of immigrants / refugees but, as educational institutions, we can manage to provide social acceptance and we can manage to give them stronger motivation / hope for a happier life. On the other side, this project will be very useful to students by developing their English skills, social competences and autonomous personality.
